Accounting

We provide a full range of accounting services to all types of small to medium businesses, close corporations, body corporates, partnerships, sole proprietors and trusts which include:

Bookkeeping and Management Accounting

We offer a comprehensive range of bookkeeping services to suit your businesses needs. We will prepare a monthly financial summary allowing you to review the performance of your business.

These services include:

  • Bookkeeping - recording from source document to trial balance

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts

  • Full financial management role

  • Completion and submission of all monthly and annual statutory (required) returns

Payroll
  • Full SARS employer reporting

  • Submission of PAYE returns

  • Full-function payroll administration including:

  1. Capturing of all your payroll related changes and input, for example overtime, loans, provident funds etc.

  2. Generating professional payslips on pre-printed stationery or by a secure PDF sent by e-mail.

  3. Processing all loans, garnishee orders (relevant when a debtor has failed to pay money to the creditor), and third party payments on the payroll and maintenance of their relevant balances.

  4. Providing reports in either printed or electronic format. These include a company reconciliation report, a variance report detailing differences to the previous month’s payroll, listing all earnings, deductions and company contributions made during the pay run.

  5. Provision of a summary report which will detail all payments that you are required to make to all third parties, including SARS, UIF, SDL (Skills Development Levy), Medical Aid, Pension / Provident Fund, Garnishee Orders and Unions etc.

  6. Detailed reports will, of course, also be provided.

  7. Processing of leave taken and maintenance of all leave balances for employees.

  8. Handling of payroll queries through one central person in your business.

  9. Annually provide IRP5 / IT3(a) (employee tax certificate) for each employee.

  10. Provide a reconciliation of all employees’ tax paid and the electronic submission of your EMP501 and IRP5/IT3(a) records to SARS.

  11. Electronic transfer of salaries to your employees’ bank accounts.

  12. Electronic submission of EMP201returns to SARS on a monthly basis.

  13. Electronic submission of the UIF records on a monthly basis to the Department of Labour.

 

Taxation

We handle the completion, calculation and submission of all tax related returns and facilitate the queries raised by SARS. These services include:

  • Completion and submission of business and personal tax returns

  • Completion and submission of provisional tax returns

  • VAT submissions

  • Facilitating tax clearance certificates (for immigration purposes, business dealings, loans etc.)

  • Corresponding with SARS for various queries and objections

 

We will then obtain a status update from SARS, and schedule a meeting with you to complete your tax return should it be necessary. During this meeting, we will provide feedback on your SARS status and how to better your tax position according to your circumstances.

 

Following this meeting, we will provide you with an exact tax computation and e-mail you a copy of your tax return, and a copy of the tax assessment received from SARS. We will also object to any incorrect tax assessments by SARS on your behalf

 
Statutory and Secretarial Service

We will perform the secretarial duties of a company secretary on your behalf allowing you to comply with SARS and CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission) regulations.

These duties include:

  • Submission of annual statutory returns

  • De-registration of companies; close corporations

  • Maintenance of statutory registers and minute books

  • All statutory and SARS registrations
